Day 5: Quebec City

We visited the Musee de la Civilisation in Quebec City. One of the exhibits was all about living in snow country. It was pretty interesting. This lone star quilt is from the 1800's and the penny rug is from the 1700's.

And how about this tricycle-sled!

Then there was an exhibit on Samurai Warriors. I didn't think that I would care for this one, but it was right up my guy's alley, so in we went. And, surprisingly enough, I enjoyed it very much. Each and every helmet was complete work of art. They were hand made to suit each warrior based on his personality, life philosophy, region and status. Some were made for battle and some for ceremony, but all were so unique and fascinating.
